Before + After: Creek View Project in Larkspur

In this first phase of updating a Larkspur family's home, our Marin interior design studio designed the remodel of the bathrooms + home office. The goal was to create elevated, light + bright spaces full of intentional storage for the family of 5.
First up is the girls' bathroom, where their two preteen daughters wanted a pretty space with feminine details. Take a look at where we started:

Neutral wall + floor tiles create a calm foundation in the bathroom. Millwork and custom pink floral wallpaper add interest and a feminine feel.

We paired a vanity with plenty of storage (including in-drawer outlets for hair tools) with a durable quartz countertop and polished nickel plumbing fixtures.

With no natural light in the space, the goal in the powder bathroom was to lighten up the room and add interest.

We carried the same millwork into the powder bath to create cohesiveness, and paired it with a fun light blue wallpaper.

A slim white oak vanity creates better flow around the doorway, and the woven + brass mirror adds a coastal touch.

The biggest transformation in this Larkspur home is the primary bath, which is now a spa-like sanctuary full of luxury features. While the bathroom was large in size, it was dated and didn't make the best use of space.

The space now has plenty of storage, with a custom white oak vanity (complete with a hair tool organizer), large recessed medicine cabinets, and a custom primary closet.

No luxury feature was overlooked in this beautiful primary - from heated floors, to a spa toilet, to a steam shower fit with speakers - the space has it all.
Previously the shower was cramped, with odd angles and a glass block wall between the shower and the water closet.

We reworked the layout, making the most of the square footage to create a much more spacious shower, while still maintaining a private water closet.
