Meet our latest project: Mt Tam Treehouse! This stunning home is in the hills of Greenbrae and has the most amazing views of Mt Tam - it truly feels like you're in a treehouse as you look out at Tam from the home and wrap around decks.
We helped these clients furnish their first home in Kentfield, and we were thrilled to help them create comfortable and beautiful spaces for their family in their new dream home!
We created a welcoming and functional entry space with the most beautiful custom white oak entry console with two small drawers for quickly stashing mail and keys. The mirror bounces extra light into the room and adds natural texture to the space.
This beautiful vintage bench in the entry hallway is a family heirloom, and we love the history and personal touch that it brings to their home.
While in the family room we focused on creating the kid hangout area/spot for the family to watch movies together, the living room is all about entertaining since it's in the open concept space with the dining room and kitchen. Our clients wanted the space to be fairly neutral, so we layered in tons of texture, interesting materials, and small pops of color to make it feel special. A hand-knotted wool rug, performance fabric, and other kid-friendly materials make these space equally practical and beautiful.
In the dining room, we kept things simple to really let the view of Mt Tam be the focus. We incorporated their existing sideboard, and then swapped out the table and chairs to bring in more seating. The previous window treatments were dark and distracting with so many cords, now their automated shades are hidden in plain sight and can provide much needed shade at the click of the button. Creating beautiful, liveable family homes is what we're all about, and we are so thrilled with the transformation of this home.
