Project Reveal: Berkeley Ave

If you've ever embarked on a large renovation, you're probably familiar with just how many decisions go into the project. SO many. (Hint: this is a main reason you should hire a designer!) Our clients had remodeled the great room at their San Anselmo home, and the results were stunning, but 6+ months later they still couldn't enjoy the space because they had hit decision fatigue and had no furniture. Zilch.

They're a family of 5, with three littles and a dog, and this great room is the heart of their home. We decided to keep this beautiful, neutral rug that was tolerating the wear and tear of a family well and used it as the jumping off point for the space.

They wanted a large sectional with a chaise lounge, so we customized it in this beautiful mid-tone performance fabric that will handle any potential stains well. While it's large, we made sure there was just enough space for a end table - to make the space feel finished and also as a place to set a drink.

The dining space has a beautiful white built-in bench (with storage, of course!). We recommended white wood dining chairs to tie into the bench and contrast the wood dining table.

Black stools in the kitchen bring contrast and interest to the otherwise light and bright space. The pendants above the island are stunning, and the stools help balance the space.
