When our clients decided to stay in their home a while longer instead of moving to a home with more space, they knew they needed to make functional improvements for their family of 5. With three young boys, we prioritized storage and durable materials. The entry and dining room were refreshed with new furnishings, a mudroom corner was created for storing shoes and backpacks, the laundry room was transformed into a beautiful feminine space, the boys' bathroom got a fun yet neutral makeover and the playroom transformed into the heart of the home. What was once a little kids playroom is now a dual purpose room that can easily transition from video game haven and play space (complete with a custom basketball hoop!) to a second entertaining space when guests visit.
