My mom has a very green thumb and has always had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. Until very recently I never thought I’d have the same appreciation for flowers and plants as she does, and then bam! – it hit me. I’m still not sure that gardening will ever be a big hobby of mine, but lately I’ve been obsessed with plants and how they can liven up a space. Naturally I first heard about Flora Grubb in San Francisco from my mom, and recently I’ve been seeing the plant store all over interior style blogs. This past weekend I finally visited, and I can’t believe I waited so long!

Flora Grubb isn’t just a plant store – it’s an urban oasis meets plant store meets coffee shop. There’s a great little coffee bar within the shop and tons of tucked away chairs and benches to enjoy a coffee and pastry before you shop. The best part of Flora Grubb is their beautiful selection of pots and planters, I swear I’m never going anywhere else or spending countless hours searching online for the perfect modern or boho pot again. I came home with a few little beauties, and it took everything in me not to bring home a huge cactus (I have a bit of a cactus obsession). If you’re in the Bay Area, or even visiting SF for vacation, I definitely recommend checking out Flora Grubb!

Here’s my new little cactus + boho pot, I’m obsessed! And if you’re looking for gallery wall art, that blue watercolor California print is available in my Etsy shop.

It all looks wonderful and fun with Flora Grubb a nice way to wrap up. Good choice on the Esther pot as it will be great planted with succulents.
