With unusually warm weather and no real signs of Fall in San Francisco, it doesn’t seem real that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. It totally snuck up on me! If you haven’t yet planned your Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving tablescape, I pulled together some modern Thanksgiving inspiration to make your celebration even more special. Most of these are simple – think rosemary, candles and pretty hand lettered place cards – and would be super easy to throw together for Thanksgiving! Which is your favorite?
Heart eyes for the gold silverware against the white charger and black plate, and the simple place card + sprig of rosemary and fig.
Similar to above, but the brown velvet ribbon adds a more organic/rustic vibe.
How pretty our those blush goblets? I love this one because it’s so simple and pretty, and unexpected.
Eucalyptus is having a major moment right now, I love how clean and simple it looks in this setting.
In California we’re often lucky enough to have warm enough weather for an alfresco Thanksgiving, so I’m really loving this farm to table vibe with simple place settings and jewel colored florals.
Eucalyptus makes another appearance in this tablescape, though takes a backseat to a variety of pretty pumpkins.
Craft paper always gets me, especially when paired with white calligraphy and used in an unexpected way. (Shameless plug: I sell a few calligraphy craft paper items in my Etsy shop.)
Rosemary makes a big statement in this thanksgiving tablescape, as both the runner down the table and place setting accent. It’s simple and modern, and this thanksgiving dinner must smell amazing!
Love the simplicity of this one, and how organic it feels, plus how the apples provide a pop of color.
